The RUMFCCI will introduce Electronic Certificate of Origin System (eco)

The Republic of the Union of Myanmar will introduce the Electronic Certificate of Origin System (eco) on 15^th August 2013. It is also noted that the system is intended for the facilitation of the export-import business entrepreneurs who are applying for the certificate of Myanmar Origin at the Certificate of Origin Unit, RUMCCI. Those exporters and importers can apply the ECO from their home through on line. For the purpose of their conveniences, here is a guideline for application;

Guidelines of Electronic Certificate of Origin For those companies who will apply

To apply Electronic C/O, go to the following website link and down load C/O from in PDF format http://www.umfcci.net/ecoo

After downloading the file, fill necessary data correctly and save it as your company name and UMFCCI Member Number.

Then mail to [email protected] attaching the above saved PDF file.

After checking the received PDF file and it has been approved, the applicant will be informed that he/she may come and take out the approved C/O at UMFCCI together with these following documents;

Copy of Export Declaration

The recommendation letter of Myanmar Rice and Paddy Traders Association for rice exportation

The recommendation letter of Myanmar Pulses, Beans and Sesame Seeds Merchants Association for pulse and bean exportation

The recommendation letter of Myanmar Forest Products & Timber Merchants Association for timber exportation

Remark: The electronic C/O can be applied through e-Mail.
